Stitching

Just got off the phone to my Mum, she's busy finishing off a quilt that she's had put aside for a while now, waiting to put on the binding. Speaking to her just now made me happy as well as sad; happy that she's keeping busy and will soon have a brand new quilt just in time for the cooler weather and also sad that I can't go see her and her quilt in person at the moment. While we are limited to essential travel only due to Covid19, we talk on the phone every day and look forward to better times ahead. I can't wait to see her finished quilt!

The new website is coming along, albeit slowly. I'm busy listing more items every day and hoping to publish it soon. It's a big undertaking, I was a bit naive going into this thinking it would be all finished in a couple of weeks, but I am very much enjoying putting it all together for you. Also finding some "me time" each day which is helping to keep me focused (or easily distracted). Today I've been stitching a few more apple cores together using a Moda charm pack "Amberley" by Brenda Riddle Designs. I just love the pretty colours and sweet little prints in this range. I don't have a project in mind but I'm sure something will eventuate.
