Prima yarn features the finest possible combination of kid, silk and merino fibres resulting in a beautifully soft yarn. Prima is blended from Australian 60% Fine Kid Mohair and 15% Merino with a strand of filament silk (from Thailand) twisted with the fibres to give the finished yarn a pearlescent quality which has differing reflective qualities in light. It is then small batch dyed into a range of delicious colours. Not only is it incredibly soft and smooth to the touch, it also has a beautiful lustre and drape that will absolutely delight you!

Care Instructions: Hand wash (shampoo or wool wash recommended) and lay flat to dry

After you have created your masterpiece with this yarn the garment will soften even further with hand washing in wool wash or shampoo. As this is a boutique, hand processed yarn, some vegetable matter may occasionally be present in the fibres, but is easily removed.

Rosabella Prima is produced from ethically grown kid mohair, cruelty free, fine Australian wool with ethically sourced silk, blended to create a soft mohair yarn. The silk is ethically sourced in Thailand.  Sustainable farming practices, care for the environment, cruelty-free animal husbandry and ethical trade are the values woven into every skein of yarn made by Rosabella Threads of Pure Luxury. Their beautiful range of yarns are processed, carded and spun on their farm near Toowoomba using vintage machinery recently restored and recommissioned. Yarns are then dyed into a rich and harmonious range of colours.
